1. The Nazis conquered Europe in weeks partly because their soldiers were on crystal meth. Churchill couldn’t understand how they kept going without sleep.
2. The CIA ran secret experiments dosing soldiers and civilians with LSD without their consent. They called it MKUltra — then destroyed most of the files.
3. Plato, Aristotle and Cicero all took psychedelics as part of a secret Greek ritual. Some historians argue it’s what produced the ideas that built Western civilisation.
