Three Things I Learned
The NHS gave Michael hormones after he threatened suicide to get them.
His family refused to use his new name or pronouns. He cut them off for two years. He now says it’s one of his biggest regrets.
He used women’s spaces for two years. It was his own female relative - not a stranger - who finally told him it made her uncomfortable. That’s what changed his mind.
